“Downtown Macon is everyone’s neighborhood.” We agree and believe The Children’s Center at Mulberry is just like that house in the neighborhood where all of the kids hung out and played until their parents called them home at dark! Whether you work, live, or play in Downtown, we want your children to join us at a special place where they can be curious and playful and can explore the world around them, all while supported in their intellectual, emotional, social, and faith development by loving teachers and staff. It’s just an added bonus that we are surrounded by blocks and blocks of historical buildings, beautiful flowering trees, and catchy music in the streets and that we have too many opportunities for fun than one family can enjoy! Even big names are catching on to what a gem Macon is and sharing why people need to see for themselves. When you’re ready to visit us, please enter The Children’s Center at Mulberry from the side parking lot adjacent to the Education Building. (Look for the wrought iron gates and fencing around our playgrounds.) Please ask to be admitted through the secure door using the intercom system. Even if you are familiar with Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, we ask that you still use our main entrance from the parking lot during our business hours.
